It was great I had to re-season the Cast Iron pan with some veg. oil though. I put up with some smoke, but my hood fan is very strong, so no harm done. Other than that I enjoyed the experience of using it. I find that with the Cast Iron pan, you don’t need that much heat either. Cheers

Haven’t had a filet mignon in a while. And I haven’t cooked a steak in my dusty dusty old cast iron pan, for some time. Glad to report, I still have the touch. Ina’s chive recipe was delicious. Just FYI. I’m still a Barbecue guy.

Ok, this is going to be a feast week. First the chicken wings, then the sliders. Now the filet mignon. Who cares about the Superbowl. This is a great lineup already. (Lol).
