Sassy Paloma

My new favorite cocktail is the Sassy Paloma. It’s refreshing, it’s a little boozy and it’s pretty as can be!
A Paloma is simply a combination of tequila (I like Blanco for this recipe), fresh grapefruit juice, fresh lime juice, a splash of bitters and grapefruit soda. That’s it.
What makes it sassy is rimming the cup with Tajin, a mildly spicy dried chili and lime seasoning blend from Mexico. It adds zing to virtually any type of dish or cocktail. You can also use salt if you don’t want that sassiness…your choice.
Shake the tequila blanco, juices and bitters together with ice in a shaker, strain it over ice in a cup that’s been rimmed with Tajin. Top in with sparkling grapefruit soda (I like Fever Tree) and enjoy this refreshing cocktail!
