Ice Cream Sandwich Cake

This Ice Cream Sandwich Cake is perfect for a hot-day treat!  Everyone needs a simple frozen dessert recipe, and this is it!

Just layer ice cream sandwiches, oreo cookie-filled whipped cream and fudge sauce to make this delicious frozen treat!  Easy peasy!

Begin by chopping up Oreo cookies and mixing 2/3 of them with whipped topping.  The recipe calls for using frozen whipped topping but you could also use whipped cream.  Either way, mix in the chopped Oreo cookies and set it aside.

Spread half of the ice cream sandwiches in an even layer in a baking dish.  It’s okay to break some to fit snugly into the pan.

Spread half of the fudge sauce over the ice cream sandwiches and then follow that with half of the whipped topping.

Repeat the layers and sprinkle the remaining chopped Oreo cookies on top.  Freeze the cake for at least 3 hours.

Cut into 3 x 3-inch pieces and serve!
