Maple-Roasted Salmon Brûlée

Maple-Roasted Salmon Brûlée

There is nothing better to me than simply roasting salmon.  A little olive oil, salt & pepper and you’re done!  It’s quick, it’s easy and it brings out the lovely flavor of the fish.

But, if you want to take it up a notch, try brushing on a marinade of maple syrup, coarse-grained mustard, garlic and lemon juice.  Turn on the broiler for a couple of minutes to get a nice crust and you have a dinner worthy of serving to guests.

Enjoy the simplicity of it all!

Brush salmon with mixture and sprinkle the turbinado sugar evenly between the 4 pieces. Return to the oven for 2-3 minutes or until salmon is just cooked through. Watch very carefully so the top doesn’t burn. You just want it to crisp up a little.
