Boursin Dip with Pistachios and Hot Honey

One of the easiest appetizers I’ve come across in a while, this Boursin Dip with Pistachios and Hot Honey is sure to please.  The combination of the tangy soft cheese with chopped salted pistachio nuts and a drizzle of hot honey is totally addicting!

Soften up the Boursin cheese by leaving it out on the counter for a bit and then spread it out on your serving platter.

Sprinkle the chopped pistachio nuts over top and then drizzle hot honey over it all.  Be generous with the drizzle…this is what makes this dish!

Serve with crackers or apple slices and enjoy!

Boursin Dip with Pistachios and Hot Honey

Makes: 6 servings

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Total Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • one 5.4 ounce wheel of Boursin cheese (I like the garlic herb flavor)
  • 1/2 cup roasted salted shelled pistachios, chopped or crushed (about 1/4 cup crushed)
  • 3–4 tbsp hot honey
  • crackers or apple slices for dipping

Instructions

Let the Boursin come to room temperature for 15 minutes. This just makes it easier to spread, dip, and eat.

Grab a pretty plate or platter – even just a nice dinner plate will work. Use the back of a spoon to press the Boursin onto the plate in an even layer.

Top with the pistachios. Drizzle with hot honey.

Serve with crackers or apple slices. I like to throw a small spoon on the plate to make it easier to spread the dip on the crackers.

I made the boursin/hot honey dip. It didn’t sound good to me but you have never steered me wrong and it couldn’t be easier to make. JUST DELICIOUS!!! I served it with toasted baguette slices and it was wonderful. Thanks Francine – another winner.

This is absolutely divine! I agree with the previous post that upon ingredient review it would not have been at the top of my list of recipes to make, but a friend recently brought this to a get together we hosted and everyone loved it, including me! We are planning to make it as an app to take to our family Thanksgiving this week. So easy and delicious! This will be a go to recipe in the future for sure!

I found this last year and made it and loved it. I love the idea of serving it with apple slices. I’ve never considered that and can’t wait to try it.

I’m making this because I had it at my sisters and absolutely loved it. So now I’m making it myself for new years. Thanks for the great tip. Delicious.
